The farmhouse sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 king-size master suites that are tucked away each on their own floor. The queen room and the kids room (twins) share 1.5 baths in the "new" side of the house. The spacious light-filled farmhouse has an open floor plan with a gas fireplace in both the living room and tv/game room. Outdoors enjoy the 8 adirondack chairs and a fire pit .

It has an indoor compost toilet, outhouse + outdoor shower (May-Oct) Most seasons, the cabin is 100ft from parking, but weather conditions may require an 800 ft walk from parking at main house.

The Hideaway Camp

The Hideaway Camp is a very private cabin on a 100 acre property. There are hiking/x country ski trails on the property and close access to the VAST trails. A scenic 20 acre pond for kayack and canoeing and a brook with a rustic cocktail deck overlooking it. the Jacksonville General store is 2 minutes away and it is warm and friendly with all the groceries you might need. The cabin is well stocked for cooking and with high speed internet you can WFH or stream favorite shows.

It sits on over 33 acres of fields, woods, apple orchard and Mountain View’s. 2 miles from historic Newfane Vermont, you are able to enjoy privacy, while close to the many attractions of the area. We are also dog friendly. There is an extra fee of $50 per trip per dog
