Tanglewood Cabin

Experience off-grid living in a beautiful forest setting, 10-minutes to sandy beaches. Tanglewood Cabin is a stylish little OFF-GRID cabin nestled in the forest on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The cabin has a small solar system for charging your devices and to power a few lights. A well-built out-house is located near the cabin. There is no running water in the cabin, water is provided for cooking, drinking and washing. There is no fridge in the cabin, but a cooler is provided (BYO ice).

You can enjoy the deck , swim, fish, kayak, or just sit back on the dock and watch the Eagles and Osprey dive for fish, Seals bask in the sun on the nearby shoal. This newly constructed Main Street cottage is steps away from all the main attractions, while also being set back from the road enough to give guests a private and tranquil place to retreat at the end of the day. We are just across the street from Saltbox Brewery, with a beautiful patio, frequent musical guests and visiting food trucks. The cottage itself is an open and breezy ,featuring French doors, rustic details and a cozy wood stove- making it suitable for getaways all year long!

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! The dock and canoe at the lake are available for use during the summer months but will be removed in October until spring. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
