The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. The Croft Snug

Escape off grid to this secluded self contained large studio room deep in the countryside in Galloway . The accommodation is an annex of our own home and has its own private entrance and en-suite bathroom complete with shower and bath, in a studio format. We are situated on a small holding far from the maddening crowds and under the Galloway dark sky where on a clear night you can see the milky way and an array of stars . We welcome well behaved dogs however they should not be left alone .

It is four miles from Stranraer's ferry town and offers the most wonderful unspoilt countryside on the Rhins of Galloway peninsula. Places to visit include Portpatrick's fishing village, a botanical garden and sandy beaches.

The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

Country Cottage/ Beach 10mins/ Portpatrick 15mins

A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Stranraer Seafront Apartment with Loch Ryan Views

This is a two bedroom top floor apartment with stunning views of Loch Ryan. Situated along the seafront of Stranraer; you can enjoy being in the heart of the town whilst also within easy distances of some of the most beautiful places Dumfries and Galloway has to offer. A double and a twin room comfortably accommodates 4 guests with a wee den for the kids to play in. Free fast WiFi means you can enjoy the delights of Netflix, Prime etc... after a day out and about.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.

This self-contained guest accomodation is an annex to our pretty stone cottage, 30 seconds walk from the River Cree. Guests can enjoy a private entrance, 2 bedrooms & their own private bathroom, kitchen/living room & garden. We are under 10 mins drive from Glen Trool, the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails, multiple wild swimming spots and renowned hiking routes.
