"Mystic Country" Farm Stay at 100 Acre Wood

Let us welcome you to 100 Acre Wood, a historic farm and working cattle ranch. Owl's House is a private and stylish guest house nestled within the trees and garden and offers 180° views. Our farm store is stocked with our own TX Longhorn beef and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, plus curated with local products. Enjoy pastoral farm life and our private forest trails, or get out and play in the area's abundance of fine dining, wineries, seasonal attractions, outdoor activities, and entertainment.

Beautiful beachfront home available weekly in season third week of June through Labor Day) and nightly (2 night min.) off season. Step out the door and into the sand. Sit on the porch and watch sailboat races from Niantic Bay Yacht Club just steps away. Close to downtown Niantic with restaurants, shops, etc. 18 miles from Mohegan Sun Casino. Attractions within 1/2 hour: Beautiful Mystic, CT, several vineyards, Harkness State Park, Eugene O'Neill Theatre, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, golf courses.

Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape with amazing lake views. Welcome to our newest addition! "Amanita" takes tiny and cute to a whole new level. At just 8' x 12' this tiny space has everything you need for a relaxing lakefront getaway. Wake up to stunning views of crystal clear Beach Pond just steps from the cabin. Take an early morning swim or paddle in one of our kayaks. Then sooth sore muscles in our wood-fired traditional Finnish Sauna. Then enjoy an evening lakeside campfire.

Cozy Cape on the Cove

Our two-bedroom cape on the tidal cove is a paradise for any birdwatcher, fisherman, or kayak enthusiast. It’s not for swimming though. We are located near any destination you may want (i.e. casinos), yet far enough off the beaten path to enjoy some peace & quiet. Listen to the birds and crickets by the firepit or take out our rentable kayaks for a morning paddle. Dogs welcome too! Pet fee is $50 per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Maximum of 3 guests. Any unauthorized guest will be charged at $50/each.

The Tiny Cottage & Mini Farm

Retreat, Romance or Family Fun Day. You have it all at your own cozy, country cottage. Evening strolls with goats to a beautiful pond sunset puts a smile on every face. Peaceful and scenic, our free range experience is a unique interaction with pot belly pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, sheep & goats. Fresh eggs are FREE. One exit from the casinos. Camp site also with 16 foot tent, fire pit, hammock, picnic table on the pond. Mystic, Beaches & Ferry. Perfect vacation spot or anytime day trip.

Two bedrooms sleep four (queen and two twin beds); new, well-equipped kitchen and one bath, open living area, deck and patio. Light and spacious. Market/deli nearby; pleasing walk (less than a mile from center of Mystic)- restaurants, shops, marinas, etc. Near Amtrak station. Great retreat!
