Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. Close to fishing: Little Juniata, Spruce Creek, Raystown Lake.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! And with the railroad right close by you can watch the trains from the living room and also the front porch! There are 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third has a king bed.

Nestled in the center of downtown Huntingdon, walking distance from Standing Stone Coffee, 10 minutes from Raystown Lake and 45 minutes from Penn State. You get the entire bottom level of a duplex, with a private bathroom and 1 bedroom furnished with a queen bed and a Futon setup in the living room! A fully stocked kitchen and laundry room are provided as well!
