The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. Enjoy all of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park from Drift Away Studios. This new space attached to our primary residence is the perfect spot. Located in Northeast Harbor, we are walking distance to the Marina, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short bike ride away from the Brown Mountain Gate House to enter Acadia. A 15 min drive to Bar Harbor, and steps away from the school with play spaces, and even a free public pool (July & August). We are the gem you have been searching for.

Colcord Cottage is a quintessential summer guest cottage that is located in Searsport on Penobscot Bay. Enjoy ocean views from almost every room, watch the changing tides, listen to the waves while you sleep and explore the beach. The recently renovated cottage is conveniently located, walking distance to the village, only an hour from Acadia National Park, 10 min.to Belfast, 30 min. to Camden and 40 minutes to Bangor. We are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect our cottage.

Bright, quiet, clean studio apartment easy 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park, 5 minute drive to scenic Blue Hill village. Hiking trails are less than a mile away and plenty of fresh and salt water access nearby. Outside table and chairs surrounded by trees, birds and gardens in a quiet, safe neighborhood at the end of a short dirt road. Enjoy total privacy or ask your hosts for local knowledge. All one room, with kitchenette, queen bed, futon couch, and fold out single bed.

Little Suite in the Woods

Escape to the quiet woods of Mount Desert Island in a modern retreat within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park. The house is located on the quiet side of the island, 1/2 mile off of Rt. 198. As you depart 198 a gravel road takes you through dense forest, leaving behind the street noise and summer rush. When you arrive you are surrounded by woods with not another house in sight. If you are looking to be in town, this is not it. We are driving distance to the hotspots.

Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.
