Our 'Tranquil Haven by the River Fane' is just a 12.5 KM. drive from the M1 Motorway and part of the famous ‘Drumlin Country’ of Co Monaghan. 'Candlefort Lodge' is a 95 sq m./(1022sq ft.) sized apartment at the lower ground level of our home. It is self-contained, bright, and private. Our loft is 4 miles from Monaghan town, population 10,000approx. It is located roughly an hour and a half from Dublin and Belfast. Local amenities include 18 hole golf course and driving range, Rossmore Forest park (1.5miles), cinema, leisure centre, a number of pubs and restaurants (4 miles), Glaslough Castle and Equestrian centre (7 miles). There are numerous local lakes for fishing and the Bragan region offers various walking trails.
