ここは今も人々の生活が根付いた、落ち着いた城下町。風情を感じて、昔の広々とした静かな古民家のお部屋で、忙しい日常を忘れましょう。 2023年5月公開の映画『銀河鉄道の父』のロケ地です。萬勝商店もその映画に出ています。「役所広司さん」の古本屋のシーンはこの宿で撮りました。 岩村城址へは歩いても車でも行けます。ぜひ足を運んで、ここでどんな戦いがあったのか思いを馳せてみてください。 他の観光地のようにたくさんの観光客がいないので、城下町の生活を独り占めできます。岩村ファンが継続して来てくださいます。 午後４時を過ぎるとしーんとした静けさに驚くことでしょう。夜の本通りを歩くと、ぼんぼりのような行灯が並び、とても幻想的です。 「夏至」の日に、夕日が通りの先にまっすぐ落ちていき、とても美しい風景を見ることができます。（天候にもよりますが、毎年６月の半ばの前後１週間程、18時半くらい） この建物内では、レトロ着物レンタルと着付けも運営しております。着物を着たい方はぜひご予約くださいね。宿泊のお客様は、割引料金になります。 建物の奥に、裏庭や蔵もあり、忍者気分にもなれるかも(^-^)

This is a traditional Japanese house with a large entrance and white "Noren" curtains. You can rent the entire house out, and it's for up to four people per day. (There are two bedrooms.) There is a private outdoor sauna in the garden.
