Relax in one of many ADK chairs while enjoying incredible sunsets over Lake Champlain and the ADK Mtns. The 1 BR suite shares no space with the main home and has its own entrance and bathroom. The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Designed in keeping with the 1930's bungalow aesthetic of the main house, the cottage sleeps up to 4 with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and queen-sized pullout sofa in the living room. Skylights brighten the lofty interiors. The cottage is well insulated and features centrally ducted heat and A/C, providing excellent climate control to suit your comfort preferences.

First floor suite off main house with private entrance and deck with seating, and private bathroom. Basic kitchenette (mini frig, microwave, keurig). Portable infrared sauna in winter months. 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to shops & restaurants. We are in a part of Essex that is rural (the village, Essex Junction is more of a city.)
