Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. The Gardener's Cabin is the perfect "pitstop" centrally located in Roanoke's historic Old Southwest District, approximately one mile from the center of Downtown Roanoke. It provides up to two guests with a safe, private and convenient place to spend a night or two while enjoying Roanoke. This 200 square foot bungalow is situated in a secluded courtyard behind Bent Oaks Manor and once housed the family's gardener when the property was built in 1910. One dog permitted.

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, a huge deck, and a pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets.
