Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. Only 5 min walk to Kilt Rock where they are filming the new Highlander movie and an outdoor patio to sit back and relax with spectacular views of the Old Man of Storr. 10 mins drive to the Quiraing for hiking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. You won't forget this trip any time soon! Cosy in Winter, fully equipped and decorated with photographs by the owner, a professional landscape photographer.

Otter Bothy

Otter Bothy is a small, self contained cabin right on the banks of West Loch Roag, in the village of Carishader, perfectly situated for wildlife, fishing, walking, cycling, surfing and kayaking. Otter Bothy is situated beside Otter Bunkhouse, but offers private accommodation in a small but very cosy cabin, with spectacular views across West Loch Roag. At only a few metres from the shoreline, there aren't many places as close to the water as this! The minimum stay is 2 nights. No dogs.

6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Broch View (and it's neighbour, Loch View) is a new log cabin well-appointed to a high standard right beside the Dun Carloway broch, in the heart of the West side of Lewis attractions of Callanish Standing Stones, Garenin Blackhouse Village, the spectacular Dalmore and Dalbeg beaches,etc. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well fitted kitchen, bathroom with full size shower, double bed, and a comfortable sitting area. The cabin sits in a beautiful and historic area.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed.
