Sorry - Children over 9 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

I designed and built the house myself which is why it has a personal feel. it manages to be spacious and at the same time cosy. just a few minutes drive from Carbost with the "Old Inn" with its restaurant ,bar and trad music nights , the famous Talisker distillery is now complemented by “The three chimneys at Talisker “ and the coffee shop completes the village .

A combined living/bedroom/kitchen area provides: a comfortable KS bed, table with 2 chairs , large cupboard, kitchenette containing: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combi microwave/grill, airfryer and toastie maker. Additionally there is a walk in wet room and a shed for boots and bikes. Outdoor seating is provided.
