The space The studio, is set within a newly converted barn, with its own entrance on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Modern, serene and quietly luxurious, perfect for a couple or up to three friends retreat, swapping notifications for birdsong, swimming at dawn, and deep sleep. A twin double bed, a sofa bed, a dining area, a deep bath in the en-suite bathroom, light cooking facilities., parking and easy access into the Lakes.

Atelier an enchanting French studio

Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It's 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

The Orchard is our luxurious custom built Shepherd's Hut for two, set on a working farm surrounded by idyllic nature. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding rolling countryside, a perfect tranquil location. Appointed to a high standard with underfloor heating, the sizeable open plan living space has a bespoke fitted kitchen, oven, hob, dining table, smart TV and double bed. The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.
