The Wren House: Close to Lake

The Wren House is within walking distance of local lakeside attractions such as PM Park; the Tiki Bar; and the Ritz beach, shelter house and boat ramp (lake access that's much less crowded than city and state beach). Its only a 3 minute drive to Clear Lake State Park's trails, beach and picnic areas and less than 10 minutes to get downtown to spend time at the seawall, city beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. The cottage is quaint but very comfortable and stocked with all the trip essentials

Cozy apartment 1 block from a public lake access. Large front covered deck with welcoming picture view of the lake, it is 1/2 block away. There are 2 bedrooms, one with queen pillow top bed. The second a double and a single bed. Modern bathroom. Large living with comfy seating. Cozy kitchen for meal prep, fully equipped with a full array of dishes, pot and pans. Just shop a couple blocks away for your own needs. Basic staple items also on hand. Internet available, local tv channels limited.

The Cozy Confluence is uniquely nestled between Rock Creek and the beautiful Cedar River. The home is spacious yet cozy. There is a large attached deck where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee while listening to the creek babble nearby. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is the place for you! There are hiking trails throughout the property with incredible canopies of mature hardwoods. River access on the property makes kayaking, canoeing, or tubing a breeze. Plan your escape today!!

Moose Haus Lodge

This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

The Clausen House-Historic home close to the Lake

The Clausen House has been where families have been creating memories since 2018. If you need additional space check out the Schoolhouse vacation rental located on the same property. The Clausen House was built in 1890 and is a great place for large family Gatherings It has been updated with 3 renovated bathrooms, kitchen & laundry room. It has ten foot ceilings on the main floor with beautiful original finished woodwork. Close to downtown and the Lake with only a short walk!

Clear Lake's Relax & Recharge Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and comfortable home. We are located just a quick walk from the Botanical Gardens and Lake Time Brewery and about a 10 minute walk to City Park. The house is spacious enough to easily host 8 people and very tidy space with lots of charm and comforts for travel. We have a fenced in backyard and a screened in porch offers a fun space to relax. Feel free to play one of our numerous games provided or work on a puzzle during your stay!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. This home is a four bedroom, two bath two-story home with finish basement. Home features a cedar-lined all weather porch, hundred year-old hardwood floors, kitchen with Jen air convection oven, super fast wifi, oven, dishwasher, a dining room with extendable table and a desk. Living room features plush reclining furniture. This home is perfect for hosting working groups or families!

Lake Front Retreat

This fully furnished lake front cabin is located on South Shore in Clear Lake! It was updated (2017 & 2020) with gorgeous views of the lake. The cabin includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with sleeping arrangements for 10 people. This is the perfect retreat to enjoy the lake in the summer or a snowmobiling/ice fishing getaway in the winter. The property has 50 ft of shoreline with a dock for swimming and outdoor fire pit. The acreage sits amidst Iowa farmland but is only minutes from the tourist attractions of Clear Lake and the amenities of Mason City.
