Te Pahika ( the runaway) was originally built in 1907 as a guards van and crashed at Moana in 1963. It literally did runaway. Nestled at the far end of the large pond in a secluded area with a raw native bush backdrop, the setting sun, abundant bird song, and local wildlife. Riverstone House

Riverstone is situated on a semi rural lifestyle block on the banks of the Taramakau River, halfway between Greymouth and Hokitika, with a stunning view of the river and historic rail bridge. You would be the only guests staying on the property and will have your own private entrance, lounge/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry and outdoor area. We live in a completely separate and blocked off area of the house, and there are no shared spaces.
