Our cabins are located directly on the Conejos River. In addition we have a beautiful pond stocked with trout. Catch and release barbless hook fly fishing is available on the River or pond separate from booking the cabin upon availability for an additional fee. Hummingbird Lodge is an authentic log cabin in the beautiful Brazos Canyon area of Chama, New Mexico. It is situated on over 4 acres of beautiful tree covered land with great views of the Brazos Cliffs, Brazos Peak and surrounding hills. It is a close 3 ½ minute walk to the Brazos River, where we have deeded rights to an incredible half mile of river frontage and some of the best trout fishing around. This four-season cabin can be especially enjoyable as a cozy retreat once snow flies and can be accessed by snowmobile, XC skis or snowshoes!
