A modern semi detached bungalow at the edge of Loch Earn in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This house is located in the picturesque Perthshire village of St Fillans and provides a great base for exploring rural Perthshire including 43 local Munro’s. Situated on the grounds of a working sheep farm, guests can enjoy the quiet and tranquil atmosphere. In this walking hot spot there is also an array of other activities such as cycling, fishing, golf and watersports on Loch Earn.

Ben Nevis is just a 20 mile drive from the house via Fort William. Oban Ferry terminal, a 30 mile drive south, offers year round access to the Hebrides.

The living room looks out across the garden through massive French windows which can also be fully opened on fair-weather days. This really opens up the space and brings the beautiful scenery inside. At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.

Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).

Approximately 20 minutes from the capital Portree, it enjoys stunning views of the Cuillins and the nearby Isle of Raasay.
