The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

A cosy cottage in a thriving village. Pretty walled garden with garden furniture. Well equipped, with quality linen, towels. Bathroom with separate bath and great power shower. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has two singles which can be zipped together to make a king size. Great Wi-Fi signal. Family friendly, cot and high chair available. Sorry no pets. Two minute walk into the village situated away from the main road on the hillside. Self check in with key box.

Totally newly renovated in 2018 this two bed, two bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' field to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
