This tiny home in Rockingham County has a lot to offer. Cram-packed with amenities, it has everything you need for a weekend retreat or week-long getaway. It includes a full kitchen, bathroom with tile shower, sleeper sofa that turns into a queen bed and smart TV. In the living room, there is a custom fold-down table for eating or playing cards. Outside, enjoy the fire pit and views of the country. Close, easy access to I-81, JMU, downtown Harrisonburg, Skyline Drive and several National Parks.

This renovated historic carriage house is 2 blocks from Harrisonburg’s vibrant downtown. The space is light and airy with gabled ceilings and sky-lights that open. It is located on a leafy residential back-alley, with private entrance and off-street parking. JMU’s bluestone campus is a 10 minute walk away. We’ve set-up this space for a range of guests: from JMU parents visiting their children to people traveling for business who are seeking a more textured experience with home comforts.

At 1,800 feet in elevation the air is cooler in the summer and views are spectacular year-round including the stars at night!

Pondside Paradise

Welcome to our family’s little getaway. Our 12x20 ft cabin sits beside a 2.5 acre pond. Savor the evening beside a campfire listening to the nightfall on our Valley or from the porch swing. The tiny house/cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)

Modern suite w/ soaker tub, huge shower & a view!

Come enjoy a classy suite, with walk in shower, soaker tub and a country view. The space has a king bed and private entrance, but is attached to a family home. The blue couch converts to a futon in case you need space for 3 people. Plan to enjoy local restaurants, as this space does not have a kitchen. There is a small fridge, toaster oven, & coffee maker. We will provide, coffee, cereal and milk for you to prepare on your own.

Lavender Suite Close to JMU

Look no further for a convenient and cozy place to stay on your next trip to Harrisonburg. Features include a private entrance, spacious bedroom with queen sleigh bed, dinette, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. Your suite is attached to our family home in a wooded cul-de-sac neighborhood, just minutes from JMU, Rockingham Memorial Hospital, and a short drive to the Shenandoah National Park.

We are conveniently located along Rt 33 about 10 minutes from EMU, JMU. The George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and numerous caverns provide endless opportunity for outdoor adventures. There is also abundant shopping and dining nearby in Harrisonburg, Dayton, or Bridgewater.

My place is about 10 minutes from Downtown Harrisonburg and EMU and 15 minutes from JMU's Bridgeforth Stadium and Atlantic Union Bank Center. Come for a great getaway close to many activities but tucked into a quiet neighborhood with scenic views all around. Great for couples, families and remote work!
