The property has a spacious living area and access to almost three acres of lawns and gardens. The setting is spectacular, is in fantastic walking country high above the South Coast with sea and country views and close to some great beaches off the adjacent coastal path. We are a ten minute drive from the ferry over to the town of Fowey (sailing, good restaurants, shopping) and the old fishing village of Polperro is a couple of miles in the opposite direction with Looe a short distance beyond.

The Barn

The Barn is a perfect escape for a couple. A spacious open-plan barn with kitchen and living room, flagstone floor and underfloor air-source heating and an overhead sleeping platform. Stylish self-contained shower room. Large library of books and collection of board games and extensive gardens and grounds. Set in a glorious, commanding position with spectacular views across Lantivet Bay, our serene, spacious home is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by picturesque Cornish fields and with coast path access. It has large gardens to front and rear (including dog proof to rear) and is perfect for cliff walks, wild swimming, star gazing and nature spotting. Manor House is grade II listed, set amongst an array of historic buildings at Botelet Farm, with a large private garden to the rear and views reaching across rolling fields and up to Bury Down iron age hill fort. Nestled in a valley in South East Cornwall, staying at Manor offers the chance for a peaceful escape with 300 acres to explore, safe spaces for children to play, chickens wandering free range outside, a trampoline in the orchard, and therapeutic massage and wellbeing workshops.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
