Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people.

You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. Nestled in the bluffs of Winona, Minnesota, The Driftless Retreat is a cottage in the valley just one mile from Saint Mary's University and a 10 minute drive to downtown Winona and the Mississippi River. The cottage features a private front and back entrance, large backyard, and woodburning fireplace. Our hope is that The Driftless Retreat is just that, a retreat away from the every day. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. Hill Street House is the quintessential river-town residence, located within walking distance of Fountain City's quaint downtown, legendary pubs, and riverfront, but just far enough from the highway and trains to still get a good night's sleep. Perched snuggly on the bluffside overlooking the Mississippi River, you'll see an ever-changing panorama of river boats, barges, and birds in flight against a backdrop of Minnesota bluffs in the distance and a jumble of rooftops below.

This private cabin is located on the edge of our pasture-based farm - we have 160 acres of forest, pastures, bluffs, and cliffs to explore. Just off the farm, this area is home to world-class trout fishing, the Root River State Trail, Amish shops, and so many hidden gems!

The Hygge (pronounced hyoo·guh) House is a tiny taste of Scandinavia in Southeastern Minnesota. What is Hygge? In short, it's a Scandinavian way of living that focuses on hunkering down and creating a safe, comforting and warm place to while away. My husband and I hand built the Hygge House with your comfort in mind. We love being cozy and having space to spend together so when the opportunity arose to renovate our studio, we wanted to share it!
