The Hideaway at Mill Creek

We welcome 6 persons, however 4 adults max. Here you will find nestled in the woods atop a beautiful hill overlooking Mill Creek, a short distance from the Chesapeake Bay, an architect's home. With beautiful sunrises and sunsets, this hideaway gives you an escape from everyday life. Relax on the patio with a book, out on the water kayaking, fishing or crabbing off the dock or sitting watching the wildlife. You will never forget the views or the sight of the sailboats in for a rest from the bay.

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Nestled in the forest, on 35 acres is an ideal getaway for any small family. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are excellent dining options nearby. Beaches are close by with rental options and quaint shops in the picturesque nearby town. The 900 sq ft cottage has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a full bath and a tub. Downstairs is a family room, full kitchen, ½ bath, dining area, front screened porch and back deck overlooking the woods. The main house is owner occupied.

Creeks End Farmhouse

At the end of a country lane, on the banks of Henry's Creek off the Chesapeake Bay and near the village of Kilmarnock, Virginia sits Creeks End Farmhouse. This charming home built in 1903 was once a working farmhouse, but now welcomes family and friends to come relax and play. Enjoy crabbing or fishing from the dock, paddling the creek out to the bay, lazing in the adirondack chairs on the wrap around deck, or napping on the screened-in porch.

Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees. Its a simple, cozy spot with lots of outdoor spaces for spreading out.
