The cottage is located in the town of Christana on a quiet street with a spacious deck and backyard. The home is owned by the Lapp family and managed by my husband Paul and I. The cottage has 2 BDRMS w queen beds and a daybed to sleep 1 guest. The newly renovated bath offers a shower/tub combo. Dutchway Grocery store & Restaurant is just around the corner. Amish attractions, Sight and Sound, Strasburg, Outlet shopping within 20 min drive of the home. Smart TV to log into your accounts. WIFI .

Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Walk or ride your bike 1 block and your on the beautiful scenic RAIL-TRAIL with easy access to Ephrata, Akron and Lititz! FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $5 per night for extra cleaning .We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!

The home is a 3 minute walk or a 1 minute drive from the shops of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse. It's also a 10 min. drive from the town of Bird in Hand, Strasburg Railroad (16 min), Sight & Sound Theater (17 min), Dutch Wonderland (17 min). Built in 1753, this 1000 square feet, newly restored limestone cottage was the original settlement home on the 135-acre homestead. Boasting a French country esthetic, this little darling has the most captivating views of rolling hills, a brook, and lush green farmland.
