Welcome to Nyota ya Amani, a calm, breezy and private one bedroom apartment in Shela, Lamu. A 3 min walk to the seafront and 5 min walk to the beach. It is spacious with open dune views and a private balcony. Our housekeeper/chef prepares customised meals and assists with cooking, cleaning and laundry at no extra charge. We have a firm orthopedic mattress, cotton sheets, four pillows, a fitted net and cotton towels. We assist you to plan island activities and arrange airport or mainland pickup.

Jamala House

Jamala House is centrally located near Lamu Fort in the historic oldest part of Lamu. It is a quiet and private resort with a relaxing garden rebuilt to a high standard and reopened in 2018. All rooms have private baths with hot water. Jamala features a common kitchen, seating area and a rooftop with a great view of the sea. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast area. Sightseeing tours are available close to the property and dhow services can be arranged at a fair rate.
