"Entrance in the alley" I tell guest "but it's a nice alley." The B&B structure was built in 2012 on the back of an existing late 1800's sandstone building. We pride ourselves in exquisite cleanliness and delicious home cooked country breakfasts. "Jaxie Brown B&B" offers a secluded spot for relaxation in the midst of small town activity. From the fresh flowers on the table to the hand made quilts on the beds, every thing about Jaxie Brown says "welcome home, we are so glad you came."

Old Missouri Farm

Newly remodeled, 120 yr old farm house and cattle ranch on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest off historic Route 66 Highway. We welcome those who can stay just one night or those who want to stay longer. Hike in our woods, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire, or just sit on the porch and relax! We have an Activity Barn with all sorts of outdoor gear/toys. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and we are close to the historic town of Carthage where there are several great restaurants.

The Bunkhouse sits adjacent to a large body of water. Just 10 miles to Pittsburg and 30 miles to Joplin, MO. Guests can enjoy time outside on the covered porch next to the water, sit around the fire pit on those cool evenings, go for a hike, play a game of pickleball, or enjoy some catch and release fishing from the bank. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.

All wood inside that our guest fondly refer to it as “the cabin”. There is a Washer and dryer, and full kitchen to complete everything you might need to enjoy a little get away.
