Fishing, biking, rafting, BMX, hiking/mtb. trails, breweries, restaurants the list goes on, welcome to Durango. Large lit private outside area w/ dining table and grill.

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

The Garden Home with a Private Hot Tub

The Garden Home is less than 4miles north of downtown, with a park like setting on an acre of land. The home features AC, deck, HOT TUB, BBQ grill, and fire pit, all for personal use. The main bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor and a spiral staircase leads to 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. It's the perfect home for any season, come enjoy the garden beds in the summer or snuggle up by the fireplace in the winter. Bonus is that it's only 20min to Purgatory!

We are close to Downtown Durango with family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, close to the airport and endless adventures. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, comfy beds, and spacious atmosphere with total privacy if you want it. Crystal (matriarch of the fam) knows Durango inside and out! She's a native and loves people. We also have one indoor / outdoor cats named Chess.

A barbecue, an outdoor fire pit, a lit up recreation area and a hot tub are all part of the experience! Seasonally, we have an organic vegetable garden and outdoor yard games as well! Cookie and Kareem, our mini donkey and fainting goat, are here to welcome you!

Amy’s Place

Welcome to our beautiful southwestern home with a view of open space and forest. You will be staying on the ground floor of a unique 2 unit home. A long term tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment with a separate private entrance. Amy and Daniel are available remotely if you need anything during your stay. We are two miles from town, 5 from downtown and 29 miles from Purgatory. It’s the perfect southwest adventure hub!
