Camp Wandawega: Lakeside 3 Bedroom Cabin

Overlooking the lake nestled right behind the main lodge, this cabin has 3 bedrooms, a half bathroom, a seating a room, a basic kitchenette & access to camp showers downstairs. One large bedroom has a queen bed, one room with bunkbeds, & one with a full bed to accommodate a max of 6 guests. (But the bunkbeds are best for kid-sized humans). Like all of Wandawega, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. There is heat & a couple AC window units.

We are lovers of "Lake Life" and want to share our experiences of Turtle Lake with others who love tranquility and time to reflect, but also want to hike at the Kettle Morraine State Forest, enjoy camp fires, tour local historic towns such as Lake Geneva and other sites, fish (including the best ice fishing in the area!), canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, reading, and simply enjoying conversations with friends and family. We recently remodeled the kitchen, bathroom and 2 lower bedrooms.

The cabin features two kitchens, two family rooms, a year around outdoor hot tub, a game room, and five bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds. The master suite also includes a steam room for added luxury. Spend your days enjoying the great outdoors with a game of beach volleyball or roasting marshmallows around a bonfire, while taking in the fresh midwestern air.

This home is perfect for family get togethers. The basement has a game area, a living room, a queen bed and private bathroom. Duly note the queen bed downstairs is not a private bedroom. The fenced in backyard has a patio ,furniture,gas grill and a hot tub. Quiet hours begin at 9PM. It’s close to Walworth County fair grounds where the flea market, Das Fest and Rib Fest are held. This is country living with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors or the peace and quiet of the countryside.
