My house is very conveniently located: Keihan railway (Demachiyanagi station) is 1 minute away walking. Shimogamo Jinja (shrine) is 5 minutes walking. Ginkaku-ji (temple) is 10minutes walking. Fushimi Inari (temple) is 15minutes by Keihan railway. The house is also near to many Bus terminals.There are a rent-a-bicycle shop and many Japanese foods shops near my house. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. We collaborated with award winning architects at Ikken to renovate this space, which now accommodates the comforts of modern life, while retaining many of the original structure and elements from its past.
