Samphire Lodge with sauna - stunning loch views

A stunning three bedroom Highland lodge on The North Route 500, boasting spectacular views. Samphire lodge is situated on a hill giving it a vantage overlooking the sea Loch to the Attadale valley. Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

The Ticket Office at Strathcarron Station is a luxury self catering apartment on the famous Kyle Line, one of the “Great Railway Journeys”. A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Bothan dubh (Black Bothy) We are situated in Badicaul which is a 5 minute drive from the Skye bridge and a 10 minute drive in the other direction to the beautiful village of Plockton. Relax and unwind in our peaceful, self contained studio with en-suite bathroom. Enjoy amazing views from the studio looking over the sea to Skye. Centrally located for exploring with Plockton 5 miles away, Kyle of Lochalsh 1.5 miles ,Skye bridge 2 miles away & Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles away.

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

On a southwest facing hillside with stunning views of Loch Duich, Loch Alsh and Eilean Donan castle, nestled in a birch and hazel woodland. Within walking distance of the village of Dornie which has places to eat and drink, a local shop and of course the castle, on the road to Skye. Great if you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Scottish Highlands.

A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

Arras Beag is a stunning waterfront property in a beautifully peaceful location. Sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms (plus an additional sofa bed sleeping 2) the house has been completely upgraded and renovated to a very high standard. With panoramic views over the Loch, surrounding mountains and Eilean Donan castle, yet within a mile of picturesque Dornie where you’ll find a pub, post office, shop and bakery/pizza takeaway.

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
