The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 20 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome.

Green Cove Getaway is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday. It is nestled next to lush green woods just across the road from the Virginia Creeper Trail and three miles from the Appalachian Trail. Located in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation area which provides opportunities such as fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding. Fish along the bank of the river or take a short trip to the town of Abingdon to visit the Barter Theatre.
