Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Lähistöllä upeat luontokohteet: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs yms. Voit tehdä päiväretkiä läheisiin kohteisiin.Rantasauna on käytettävissäsi ja neuvomme sen lämmittämisessä. Käytössä WiFi. Hintaan sisältyy liinavaatteet ja pyyheliinat kolmelle.
