Private Cabin, Black River Lake

Unwind at this lakefront retreat. The cabin is very private and comfortable. It is an excellent spot for swimming, boating and sunsets. There are two SUP's, a double kayak, a single kayak, and lifejackets. It also has a firepit and firewood to have bonfires at the water's edge. Check NS fire restrictions. Note: The cabin is well insulated and is heated by wood stove alone. If interested in booking between Oct. and May you must be proficient using a wood stove. Please message if this is the case.

Or watch the latest movies on a 55” tv as 1.5 Gigabytes of wifi is available with Firestick & IPTV pro. Or take a short 0.3 klm stroll to Butler lake and canoe and fish or just listen to the loons. Or go out on the lawn and have a game of washer toss. Or roast s’mores on the fire pit.Or just sit and unwind in our 4 person hot tub.

Located centrally between Halifax, the valley and south shore, it also serves as a great hub for road trips.

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! I now have a dock at the lake for swimming or tanning and a canoe is available for use as well. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
