The House sits upon multiple terraced fields giving way to a unique layered architecture. An all-glass skylight runs through the roof and transitions into the front wall of the house offering breath-taking views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks such as Trishul .

The kitchen, dining area, a queen size bed and bathroom is in the ground floor and a double bed is in the first. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen have all the basic amenities. The house features beautiful view of sunrise and snow covered peaks in a distance. Located amidst the dense deodar jungle one can sit in the garden and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time throughout the day.

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
