My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We offers 4 apartments to rent by the night, or week in the summer (Breakfast for additional fee). Long term September-May for the traveling professional (no breakfast). Each unit has 1-2 bedrooms, full kitchen and private bathroom. All situated on the norther head of Messalonskee Lake. Rustic Cabin on Maine Farm

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful farm. The cabin has a great connection to nature. It is a quiet, cozy and romantic place. The cabin has a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and a double bed in the loft. The couch also folds-out to double bed in the sitting room. When reserving the cabin, please register all people over 2 years old. The cabin does not have any heat, but we provide loads of comfy blankets and warm tea to make sure you are comfortable.

This is our largest room with a King size poster bed, with sitting area, one extra long twin is usually set up in the dormer. This room displays views of Silver Lake and the cascading lawns and gardens. Private Ensuite bathroom with shower with seat, double vanity sinks. The room has a television, mini fridge, microwave. Hot breakfast daily, coffee and tea are available each morning. Canoeing, Kayaking, swimming, horse shoes, croquet, are all offered on the property.

FernHill Farm Bed & Breakfast- Mt Washington Room

Your host Amy welcomes guests to her small working goat farm. Fern Hill Farm is located in the heart of the lakes region. It is only a few miles from downtown Naples, but off the beaten path. You can relax by the wood stove in the winter or on the back porch in the summer. You are welcome to interact with the goats, chickens and cats. Well behaved pets are welcome. This 3 bedroom apartment occupies the second floor of the Freedom House Bed & Breakfast main house. Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed, and one has a king size bed. The apartment has a comfortable living room with cable tv, and a fully equipped eat in kitchen. The bathroom has a claw foot tub/shower combination (and obviously a sink and toilet, lol!) *PLEASE BE AWARE THE STAIR CASE IS STEEP BY TODAYS STANDARDS AS THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1888.

For years I dreamt of hosting guests in some beautiful distant locale - and that dream came true in 2020 as I proudly opened "the Mug" where I served 3-course 5* breakfasts and started Nite Nite Fattys dessert bar. A few years later we purchased the Monhegan House (right across the square) so now Mug guests enjoy not just the Mug lawn and deck overlooking the harbor, but also all the hotel amenities.
