About this area, Recently it has been certified as a UNESCO Global Geopark.There are national parks, ski resorts, hot spring Places ,organic restaurants and cafes nearby. It is also about 30 minutes to Kanazawa, and has good access to the World Heritage Site and Shirakawa-go. I have Eabikes, , so even if you don't have a car, you can enjoy this area. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

Kusa no Niwa | 100-Year Machiya Lodge in Takayama

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.
