Eco Studio Retreat Maraetotara Valley

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

Our studio apartment is totally self contained, with wonderful wooden floors and light streaming in from the garden one looks onto. Perfectly situated a few minutes drive between Havelock North and Hastings and decorated with a Colonial African slant. We always leave muesli, fruit, milk, and croissants in the fridge for our guests to enjoy on their FIRST morning, so they can relax and not have to go out for breakfast. Tea and coffee are always provided.

Set on a farm you experience peace and quiet close to town. Lie in a stunning outdoor bath under the stars, listen to Moreporks, overlooking the stunning lights and views of rural Hawke's Bay. Cliffside Cottage, Kairakau beach house

Stunning and quiet location only a two minute walk to the sandy beach. The rocky hills provide a gorgeous backdrop and an opportunity for walks with incredible views. Kairakau beach is only 40 minutes to Havelock North, 20 minutes to the local country pub and 30 minutes to Waipawa. Bring your surfboard, your boat or fish off the beach, this idyllic spot is perfect for your next family adventure or weekend away with your friends.

Woodside Cottage

A quiet, relaxing self contained unit separate from the main house, located on the edge of Waipawa. Enjoy a drink on the deck looking out over the garden and listen to the birdsong. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.

The Little Shoehorn

The Little Shoehorn is a 5 minute drive from the centre of Havelock North Village. Nestled amongst the trees and overlooking the Mangarau Stream, this stand alone studio offers privacy and relaxation after a busy day of exploring Hawkes Bay. With Te Mata Peak on the doorstep and local wineries a must visit, the Little Shoehorn is a perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring the beautiful region.
