Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

The apartment is a 1965 square foot 2-bedroom with a king-size bed in each bedroom. A full kitchen, a very large living dining kitchen area, a private patio, a gas log fireplace, huge TVs, and a jaw-dropping view of WCU and Cullowhee NC and yes a killer hot tub to soak in the view. Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Walnut Grove Farmhouse, a renovated 1930s era home, is a remnant of an old farm. We are situated on 17 acres of rolling hills with handsome views from the upper pasture along with a stand of 14 walnut trees. Sit a spell on the porch, listen to the trickling brook (a roaring brook when we get significant rain), the sound of birds, the sounds at night and maybe some turkeys will venture through. We are located midway between Franklin and Dillsboro, Sylva, Cullowhee.
