This rustic, cute cabin has a queen bed, and a separate private bathroom with an outside hot shower house just next to the cabin. The Cookhouse - Beachside Hannah’s Clearing, Haast

Welcome to "The Cookhouse". Suituated a short 20 minute drive south of Haast, Hannahs Clearing is a small township established in 1962 to house workers the Carters Sawmill. The historic Cookhouse was built to cook for workers at the Mill, which eventually closed in 1979. The house sits in amongst native plantings on the beach side of the road, with access to the beach. The home is warm, cosy and sympathetic to its era. A fabulous getaway no matter the weather, for couples & families
