Your host is a Scottish marine campaigner who helped set up the Arran Marine Protected Area and has good tips for visitors.

The local grocery shop is less than a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
