The Croft is a sympathetic renovation of a 1772 built barn, renovated in 2016, in the grounds of the owners home. The self contained property has a king size bed, table and chairs, kitchenette which includes a fridge freezer, sink, toaster, kettle, microwave and small oven. There is a level access shower room. There is a multi fuel stove and background electric heating. Free wifi and a TV are also included. There is a small private garden and off street parking. Ideal for beaches and mountains.

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. The property is heated with woodburner, all fuel is provided. Sleeps 2 under the eaves on a mezzanine floor, not suitable for persons with mobility issues due to the sloping ceilings. Open plan living area with large dining table, sofa, fully equipped kitchen. Small shower room with WC and basin.

Barn conversion with amazing views

The barn conversion is an 9 minute drive from Anglesey’s Britannia bridge. A footpath runs from the barn to the Menai Straits below. The mountain views from the barn are pretty special. There is a private walled courtyard that is part of the listing. It has a gate that allows a good space for your dog to run around. The barn is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families. Our farmhouse is next door. We accept a maximum of 2 small dogs. No aggressive dogs allowed.
