Cabin 5 is in the center of it all. This waterfront cabin has its own deck overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a futon which can sleep 2 extra people. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. This adorable cabin is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Whether it’s lakes, trails or beaches you’ll be centrally located and right across from one of northern Michigans favorites, Long Lake. Near Tawas, Oscoda and West Branch, beach access, deck and fire pit you’ll be able to enjoy it all. But when you’re ready to relax, you’ll appreciate being on this paved, dead end road in a peaceful neighborhood. Please note: 6th bed is a folding cot.

The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. Come for a night or stay the week on Michigan’s sunrise side.
