Knockmore: Lakeside 1

Welcome to Knockmore's 2 Lakeside cabins. Enjoy one of our 2 private 2 bedroom cabins while living alongside the calming waters of the Bras d'Or Lakes. Both cabins are newly built and offer a clean, modern, airy, open concept layout. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a wonderful secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. All guests must register their ID 48 hours before check-in. All reservations are for 2+ nights.

The Studio

The Studio is a charming, quiet and perfect rest stop and starting point for your Cape Breton exploration. Get acclimated for a day or two or seven! Feel the wonderful sensation of living near the sea. Wake to a peaceful water view each day. Easy walking, birding, biking and kayaking accessible steps from your door. Our clean waterways, trails and backroads offer a getaway unlike no other. The UNESCO HERITAGE SITE of the Bras d'or Lakes and the Village of St. Peter's are just 4 miles away.

Archie's Place

Archie’s Place sits atop a hilltop farm in Broad Cove, just 5 minutes north of the village of Inverness and centrally located to beaches, hiking trails, world-class golfing, local artisans, and Celtic music. The house offers 5 beds to accommodate up to 6 people. Comfortable window-side seating downstairs and rural quietness offer the perfect spot to unwind with a book or catch up with family and friends; while the large dining room and fully-equipped kitchen are ideal for entertaining.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

The Hut

This centrally located spacious lot provides a warm welcoming enviroment after exploring any of Inverness' many attractions including the world famous Cabot Links golf course,the pristine Inverness beach and boardwalk,walking trails,and all the village amenities,shops,dining and entertainment.The newly renovated interior's cozy design has vaulted wood ceiling's and climate control. Your family will be equipped andclose to everything when you stay at this centrally located place.

Located just minutes from the renowned Le Portage Golf Course, this cozy 3-bedroom retreat offers the ideal blend of relaxation and recreation. Whether you’re here for the fairways or the fresh air, The Sand Trap is your relaxing coastal getaway.

Old Miller Guest House

Our rate is $230/Night plus a one time cleaning fee of $70. BOTH of these fees include the HST, (Sales Tax) Book 7 days? Pay only for 6. Just 2 km from the Cabot Trail and Margaree Forks, our Guesthouse can just be a place to relax or can serve as an excellent location for exploring the area and the island. We are close to beaches, golfing and fishing venues. Also, contrary to google Maps, (and some GPS's) our actual address, is Margaree Forks, B0E 2A0 not SW Margaree.

Relax on the back deck on the main level or on the deck off the master bedroom and watch the fishermen hauling in their daily catch or admire the stunning sunsets over Walk to nearby restaurants, bars or simply walk the sidewalk or the boardwalk On Airbnb I had no option but to put entire house....sorry!

Location, location, location! A cozy, clean and comfy one bedroom apartment equipped with all you need away from home. Nestled in the middle of the village, everything from the grocery store/NS liquor commission to the popular (seasonal) farmers market is within a 1-15 minute walk. Our area is best known for its music and culture and beautiful scenery. The Red Shoe Pub is in our front yard, as is our own specialty coffee and ice cream business (Beaton's Delight.)
