Close to Park, 5 acres, Hot Tub

Before purchasing this home we were regular guests ourselves. We made this very "Sunset Cottage" our home away from home destination as we found it to be the ideal spot for a Joshua Tree get away!! One night stays are considered for week days and last minute rentals. Please write to inquire. The Sunset Cottage offers the best of both worlds- you are just under 1 mile to Joshua Tree Village restaurants and shops and 6 miles to the Park Entrance but you have 5 private acres all to yourself that offer serenity, amazing views, and the best of the desert landscape. Regular visitors include quail, jack rabbits, blue jay, road runners, and coyote. Outdoor amenities include a 5 person hot tub, outdoor furniture including a double chaise lounge, propane grill, and wood burning chiminea. Joshua Trees surround the property. Inside the quiet cottage you will find a fully equipped kitchen, wood burning stove in the open dining room/living room, a couch that folds out to accommodate 2, wifi, flat screen tv & dvd player, basic DirecTV programming, and a sound system that includes iphone hook up and a turntable with a large vinyl collection. We also keep a couple of guitars at the house. The bedroom offers beautiful views and a queen bed. The cottage has air conditioning and heat to make your stay most comfortable, and a washer and dryer is located in the detached casitas for your use. Efforts have been made to make the Sunset Cottage and property a stylish, zen retreat for guests visiting the beautiful Joshua Tree area. The Cottage is a great spot for singles, couples, or small families looking for ameninties and quiet relaxation off the grid but still close to all that Joshua Tree Village and National Park have to offer. Sorry, but we have a very strict no pet policy.

Hot Springs, Tiny House, Desert Retreat 718

This tiny house is not so tiny at 600 sq. ft. Light-filled and mid-century modern-appointed in a gorgeous hot springs retreat, situated on a lake and right across from the mineral pools. There are wonderful views of the sunrise over the mountains behind the lake, while egrets emerge and ducks stir from sleep and the black swan settles into his place under the oak tree. The desert wakes up and is bathed in sunlight while you enjoy a morning coffee on the patio before your first hot pool dip.

This cabin was built in 1922 and has been lovingly maintained & upgraded. We're walking distance to restaurants, shops & a local microbrewery. Our guest cottage features a private deck overlooking Strawberry Creek and a natural fern garden, providing the perfect retreat and ideal setting for your morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kitchen includes a vintage stove & refrigerator for light meal preparation & the bedroom comes with a SleepNumber bed for your personalized sleeping comfort.

This is a brand new house. This house is small, but very cozy, and has all amenities you need to enjoy your holiday. This house is located on the shore side of the lake, where you can enjoy the lake view from inside of the house and on open deck at the back of the house. On the deck you may enjoy romantic dinner or drink the morning coffee and watch swans and ducks swimming in the lake. There is a tennis court available nearby for people who like to stay active during their days off.

Our Cottage in the Woods is a cozy, secluded getaway! A romantic, rustic cabin with knotty pine interior, open beam ceiling, fireplace and kitchen. Set in a beautiful wooded setting, on the edge of a meadow. The cottage has a private deck, bbq and a hammock...when the weather allows. Pets are welcome! We do charge a $25.00 pet fee. One night stays are occasionally available, especially midweek. Just ask!
