This retreat offers the scenery of wildlife inside or outdoors. You have the chance to see zebras, bison, camels, and much more! Elk and water buffalo love to take a swim in the pond that Elk Ridge overlooks as well. Enjoy the natural scenery in the evening around a firepit on the waterfront deck. Our 124 year old Cabin is just a 1/2 mile from Main Street. The long driveway crosses a spring-fed creek and winds up the hill to a secluded home surrounded by trees. Guests often hear the creek's flowing water from the front porch swing. This 1600 square foot home includes a full kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea. The patio has a gas fire pit and the backyard has a Tiki smokeless fire pit with free firewood. Hammocks and bicycles for guest use. 50 meg Wifi. Make yourself at home!

Enjoy the country life in rural Greene Co in our cabin located on our farm. A great getaway spot! Features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, living room, laundry, porch and fire pit. Look out over the field for a beautiful sunrise. On a clear night, the stars are amazing! Enjoy nature and take a walk along our creek. Spend some time in our little town at our local shops and restaurants.... We live in the country between Carrollton and Jerseyville. (There is no WiFi.)
