Built in 2023. Our A-Frame style home is located on thirty acres of maple, oak, pine & sassafras rising out of a blanket of ferns set in the Manistee National Forest. Over a mile of well maintained hiking trail winds through the woods. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan. Hosting adults only, no children or pets permitted inside the A, which is designed by a couple to create a perpetually quiet and relaxing place for other couples and ourselves.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

The Clubhouse on Idlewild Lake

Explore the nearby White Pine Trail or visit Big Rapids just 15 minutes away. Relax with peaceful river views and abundant wildlife. Relax with the whole family at the peaceful Lost Trail Lodge. Our cozy cabin sleeps up to nine and has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to unwind or play. Enjoy river views while eating on the back deck or roast marshmallows by the campfire after a day of fishing and outdoor exploration. On rainy days, gather the whole family for game time downstairs. Our space is stocked with everything you need, just bring your favorite foods to grill.
