Situated in the picturesque village of Gilling East on the edge of the North York Moors national park, Fairfax View offers the perfect base to explore this beautiful corner of Yorkshire. This one bedroom cottage has en-suite shower room, well equipped kitchen and large lounge with double sofa bed (available for use by prior request). Located directly opposite the highly-acclaimed Fairfax Arms and on the edge of the Ampleforth Abbey and College campus, with a 9 hole golf course in the village.

The Little House Peaceful & self-contained

Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Little House is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village with a safe garden for dogs and children. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and meals, is a mere 20m across the square, it is best to reserve a table. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Granary Lodge is situated on a quiet lane, yet less than two miles from Thirsk; a busy, attractive market town. It is spacious with a large lounge, kitchen, a double bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and a twin room. Also, a shower room with basin and toilet. Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). The Cobbler's Cottage

Nestled in the scenic North Yorkshire village of Sessay, this charming former cobbler's cottage offers a spacious retreat. Inside, you'll find a wood-burning stove, TV, Blu-ray player, and a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, and a washing machine. Step outside to a private patio complete with a dining area and barbecue. Plus, we warmly welcome one well-behaved pet, so you can bring your furry friend along if you desire.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

This bolthole has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard throughout, providing guests with a comfortable and cosy home-from-home. The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed and second bedroom is a twin room Sofa bed available (please note extra £30pp) A travel cot is available if needed (bedding available upon request) Complimentary toiletries.

Home to the award winning museum, 'The World of James Herriot, the attractions of York and Harrogate are all within easy access. Thirsk also prides itself in its racecourse where flat racing can be experienced through the summer.
