Foxes Earth @ Wild Fox Hill

In 2022 we were fortunate to buy an additional 3.6 hectares to add to Wild Fox Hill. Included on the land is one of the older houses in Hogsback. Inspired by the outcomes from previous building projects we took up the challenge of transforming the space. Using our knowledge and experience of earthern building, and the availability of beautiful planks shaped from pine trees cut on the land, we have created a rustic, characterful, nature inspired, light filled, home space for our guests to enjoy.

The Chalet at Maple Grove, Hogsback

The Chalet has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven/hob and microwave. TV and Fireplace. French doors lead onto patio with private garden, barbecue and Gazebo. Sleeps 4. For those guests requiring more accommodation we have The Cottage at Maple Grove which sheeps 2 (can also accommodate two children on stackbeds), and The Cabin at Maple Grove which sleeps 2. Ideal for an extended family booking of up to 10 guests.

Eco Fox Den - Earthen home with mountain views

Experience the warm embrace of an earthen dwelling for a getaway in nature. Leaving the worries of the modern world, you will enjoy an off the grid experience with electricity, water and wifi at your fingertips. Relax on the spacious deck and watch the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Spend the afternoon lazing on the daybed in the bay window and watch nature pass by. Enjoy a sundowner around the bonfire or on a winters evening, light the dover stove and enjoy a true cosy experience.

This cosy earth home is more than shelter it's a return to ancestral ways, built with mud, sticks, and heart. Nestled in the village of Msobomvu, it gazes out at intaba kaNtsikana, a sacred heritage mountain in the Eastern Cape . Woodside Garden Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place or enjoy a romantic getaway and get lost in our wonderful formal gardens. Woodside Gardens is offering this 6 sleeper cottage (2 queen and 1 double bed) with fully equipped self-catering facilities and full access to one of Hogsback's finest gardens. We are pet and child friendly with a safe premises. The experience is private and allows you, your family and friends to get some much needed peace amongst birdsong and lush trees.

A spacious and welcoming country-style home, perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy cooking in the charming farm-style kitchen, relax in the large lounge with an indoor fireplace, and make use of both the indoor braai and the generous dining area — complete with a pool table and foosball for endless fun. The Gate House

This modern, solar-powered retreat features 1 en suite bedroom plus a second bedroom with an adjacent bathroom, an open-plan kitchen & living area, and a built-in indoor braai for cozy nights. Stacking doors open to a spacious garden and a large deck with views of the Hogs. Ideal for families, couples, or remote workers, it's the ultimate mix of adventure and serenity in Hogsback!

Camroshell: Rustic Forest Retreat in Hogsback

Camroshell is a charming rustic forest retreat in Hogsback, perfect for families or groups. The main house sleeps 6, with two flatlets for 2 each (10 guests total). Enjoy three fire pits, and a large deck overlooking ancient forests. Self-catering with an on-site assistant to help with keys, fires, and wood. Close to Eco Shrine, The Edge, and Hogsback village with restaurants and shops. 38 Main Road, Hogsback.

Hogsback Hidden Away

Nestled amongst many deodar cedar trees and an abundance of fruit trees, the vast gardens of Hidden Away boast a variety of plant species such as azaleas, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, clivias and many more. The winding walkways and paths through the forest garden are perfect for early morning meanders taking in that crisp, fresh air; the mountain has to offer.
