The Blue Rooster, Spacious Bungalow Near Downtown

The Blue Rooster is a beautifully decorated folk house on a quiet street within the Cooperative Community of New West Jackson. The home is filled with natural light making for a cozy stay. This home is one of several on the street that have been remodeled by residents as a self-help solution to blight and abandonment. CCNWJ manages all but one house on the block. We are working on opening a bookstore and ice cream bar in one of the houses, and also run the Mulberry Tree Guesthouse on airbnb.

Rest and relax on the front porch. Take a bike ride or walk through the historic town of Raymond. Central heat and air conditioning. We are on the third floor. The stairway is close to the condo and two elevators are also available. No pets. No parties.
