Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Beautiful tiny house set on 100+ acres. Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise or move to the opposite porch to watch some of the most beautiful sunsets in East Texas! Great place to walk, bike, relax and read or enjoy clear skies and stars at night. Porch has fireplace. Canton First Monday (20 mi), Tyler (25 mi) and Athens (10mi) Restaurants nearby or stay in and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Fishing nearby at Lakes Athens, Cedar Creek, and Palestine. Cattle, geese and wildlife on the property!

This little cabin is surprisingly roomy inside and has a kitchenette equipped with dishes, a toaster oven, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. There is a comfy, XL twin bed with/ clean, sheets & blankets. There is a shower, toiletries & large towels. A perfect spot to stay when visiting the Cedar Creek, Canton & Athens areas & are looking for a quiet place to lay your head. We have wifi & local channels on the TV. We have clean, fresh water, from a deep aquifer, straight from the tap!

The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

Honeymooners delight in the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the lake! Very quiet, private spot. But close enough to stroll to Lake Palestine Resort to get a delicious meal and listen to a live band on the weekends. Bring your fishing gear! Lake Palestine is great fishing! Right on shore line or fish out of the kayaks provided.
