The Hayloft

Situated in Warwick-on-Eden, this delightful cottage where the hay was originally stored, is within five minutes of the M6 motorway near Carlisle. Built of local sandstone, it dates back to around 1842 and overlooks a cobbled courtyard. It was tastefully restored some twenty years ago retaining the original wooden beams and offers a high standard of accommodation for a maximum of four people. It's within walking distance of both the renowned pub, The Queens and local shops at Warwick Bridge.

It has a private drive and garden with a terrace looking directly onto the lakeland fells. Plenty to do nearby: Takin Tarn, Hadrian's Wall, Lakes and Dales, Rhegged Centre.

A beautifully appointed two bedroom cottage, situated in the heart of popular and desirable Scotby village. Children and dogs welcome. The accommodation comprises entrance hall leading to the living room with original fireplace and gas log burner, modern kitchen with integrated oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.
